Quick Update 17/11/2010

Today we cannot exchange currency because of the stock.......wait (*out of point again)
Remember the songs, try to memorize it.
Memorizing it will help you, cause if you cant get up with the song you can play it by yourself with ease

Performance

You guys are practicing for the Phor Tay 70 Year Anniversary.
You Guys are going to perform infront of alot of (dua liab lang) like Dato's and YB's.
Yes alot of pressure and especially the drums (precussion): Yuan Shin, Lyn Mei, Shi Qi, Joel, Kye Jing.
Maybe no pressure at all, I think no pressure for the precussion.
If you're a boy, you need to buy:

• Long Black Pants (St. John one can)
• Black Shoes (where for us to see during Saturday practice)

BTW, everyone need to buy shoes. Boy and girls (man and woman).
Lai Sheng will be conducting.
School only supply Shirt for boys and Shirt & Skirt for girls.
Practice the Loi Krathong, Long Teng Hu Yue ok.

Practice is at 8.00am-2.00pm, not 11.00am.
Practice is in Orchestra Room not at hall.
Because they want to arrange SPM table.
Erhu don't siasui.
Ying Ying sick, Dizi practice like crazy.
Just stand.
Drum......just smack the drum harder.

Yes, first rehersal.
All the Phor Tay school's will come to the hall, dont siasui again.
Time is 7.30am-11.30pm, early loh.
If you cannot come there are two ways:

• If youre on holiday and out of Penang, you still can performe
• If youre in Penang and lazy, never come to TiongHua ever again. We hate people who join have have no interest.

Tell us about our websites new look.
And the Pronunciation of the chinese characters are pu ti zhong xue hua yue tuan (*not le tuan). 
There are two pronunciation for the 乐 its le or yue. 
This chinese character is commonly used as le but orchestra means yue tuan. 
Facebook, Blogger and other websites also read it as le so dont get confused.

Graduation Performance

"The graduation performance went quite well actually. It was better than I expected" New York Times
"Not bad, the Erhu sounds were smooth and drums as loud as you can imagine" The Times

As you guys can see, I got a few comment's . Most of them are quite good actually. 
The Erhu I gotta agree, when we were practicing, we dint realise how good the Erhu sounded like.
Well, the performance went very well. Hope we can give out this kind of performance at other performances.
